What I Offer
Michelle Jackson Hair & Style is a mobile wedding hair service to the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas, creating soft, dreamy hairstyles for your wedding.
Its my priority as your hairstylist to keep things fun, relaxed and running on time for your big day.
I follow the latest wedding hair trends, with an emphasis on relaxed, bohemian looks and soft upstyles. To get a good idea of the looks I love creating, you can view a sample of my work on Instagram where I post all the latest weddings and hairstyles I have been creating. I love updos with texture, volume and undone vibes, everything from ponys to braids and everything in-between.
I take pride in my work and work closely with brides to create that perfect hairstyle for their special day. I want you to be comfortable, confident and feel amazing.
I have 20 years of hair experience and am confident with all hair types - whether its curly, long, thick, fine or frizzy.. I will help you get your dream style!
I liaise directly with all of my clients and I will be the one doing the wedding hair on the day, no back-and-forth with someone else and taking a gamble on what hairstylist you will get on the day. I can assure you that every picture you see in my portfolio and on social media is work that I have personally done.
My prices are inclusive of pre-ceremony photo hair touch ups, hair padding if required, face frame trimming if required, veil placement and professional application of temporary hair extentions including halos, clip ins and any chosen hair accessories.
If you are requiring makeup services I can also recommend a few of my favourite and very talented make-up artists to work alongside!
I am covered by the appropriate insurances to ensure streamline communication when working with your Event Coordinator, accommodation and/or venue and your chosen wedding vendors.

Pre-Wedding Hair Trials
I highly recommend having a pre-wedding hair trial before the big day as this will help provide me with a clear idea of what you like, what suits you and the overall style of your wedding.
I have a boutique home studio space where I conduct trials from and I am available mid week by appointment and some Saturday afternoons, although my Saturday availability is strictly limited in peak times.
Trials include a full styling consultation, hair care advice and hair extention colour matching if required.
I am located only 10 mins from the Maitland CBD, 35 mins from Newcastle CBD, and approx 45 mins drive from the Hunter Valley region.
Pictures are a great way to show me what you have in mind, so be sure to save your favourite styles from Pinterest and Instagram.
Pre-wedding day trials also gives us a chance to meet in person! Its a great opportunity to go over the finer details for the wedding preparations so that you feel completely at ease on the wedding day.
Hair Extensions (clip-in only)
Clip in extentions can be organised with me for your wedding day. These are available to pre order and purchase ready for your in salon trial if required. I can advise you of the best quantity, colour and length to purchase that will help create the perfect style.
I highly recommend clip ins for my brides that want to achieve volume, shape and texture in their desired hairstyle. Clip in extensions are also ideal for vintage waves and to encourage your natural hair to take the shape of the extensions, creating essential long lasting hold and body.
There is no additional charge to secure/cut hair extensions, secure hair flowers, veils or hairpieces on the day.

Salon Services
In addition to my mobile wedding hair service, I am able to offer salon services through the week at my home salon in Largs, Maitland area.
If you have been dreaming of the perfect hair colour before the big day Id love to help you get there! Creating dimension and shine to your hair can make such a big difference to the overall style you choose for your wedding day.
I incorporate years of salon experience and knowledge that will help you achieve your hair goals. Just contact me on Instagram or by text and we can organise a pre-wedding salon colour appointment.

Haircare
I recommend NAK Haircare and Pure Haircare in my salon and use it extensively throughout my wedding hair kit.
NAK and Pure are both Australian owned companys with a passion for creating luxe haircare products to suit the relaxed Australian lifestyle.
The collection of professional salon only NAK and Pure products feature a natural Vegan complex and are enriched with native botanicals to nourish and repair. These products are sulphate and paraben free. NAK prides themselves on being a cruelty free company and are against all animal testing.
Haircare can be purchased at your salon appointment to help repair your hair and make it feel amazing in the lead up to your wedding.
