About me
Hi, I’m Michelle!
I’ve been a hairdresser for 23 years (but don't work out the Math, thats just rude! :))
My hair ventures started in a fast-paced Sydney salon, where I developed the solid basis of my craft, eventually going on to train emerging stylists. In 2011, I made the move to Newcastle for a fresh start, and not long after, I started my own business and fell in love with bridal hairstyling.
What started with “just a few weddings” quickly turned into a whirlwind decade of early mornings (and some strong coffee to-go, obviously), dreamy hairstyles, and pushing myself to expand on my bridal styling skills and experience, as trends evolved. From soft vintage waves to textured updos and voluminous ponys, bridal styling became my creative passion, and slight obsession.
In 2023, I shifted gears to create a slower, more intentional pace for myself and my family. I now run a boutique home based salon in Largs (just 10 minutes from Maitland), offering personalised colour services during the week, specialising in bespoke blondes, balayage, and colour corrections. On limited weekends, you’ll still find me out on the road styling brides across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast, and Port Stephens.
I’m a perfectionist (in the best way!) and love creating timeless, long-lasting hairstyles that bring your vision to life, whether it’s for your wedding day or your next hair colour refresh. My approach is all about enhancing your natural beauty, respecting your individuality, and making you feel confident and sexy (no shame in feeling a little sexy, right..?!)
My home salon is a warm, relaxed space where you can sip a coffee, unwind, and enjoy a little self-care. My books are open for new colour clients, and I’m currently taking bridal bookings for 2026/2027.

I provide a mobile wedding hair service to the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas. Mid week, you can find me creating the latest looks in hair colour and styles at my home hair studio located in Largs, Maitland area.
